A nip of Einstein and A Dragonfly for your Miracle Monday

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
~Albert Einstein

Well, it’s settled then. Monday’s are miracles. Period.

Published by Mo+th, 12 Los Angeles Poets, Big City Mantra, Literary Mama, and others, her poetry and art photography are featured in the anthology Seeing Things (Woodland Arts Editions, 2020). A collection of her poetry, Caught Before Flight, published by Woodland Arts Editions, debuts fall 2020. A wild child at heart, in 2011 she moved to central NY to renovate an 1920’s farmhouse that she bought, sight unseen. From a post on Facebook. Her art photography grew from there, she’s had solo and group shows, and is collected on both coasts. She describes her photography as Bucolia, in that she recreates central NY with her signature style—as a hyper saturated dreamland.

  1. What an image moment this photograph! I would love to share my response to your writing but I’m kind of old school, horse & buggy type from the old country and am not very savvy about this blogging format. I’ll just say that I love your deep voice that comes through in a no effort kind of way. The “Americana in L.A.” piece was so elegant and economical in words but rich and wild in feeling. I loved the last line and also the “Crazy. Heart.” I hope this email gets to you or your blog. Anyway… I too lived in L.A. for 25 years and left. Now I drive across the country every two months to do a class with Jack. That was the only thing I missed. I am so excited and hopeful that there is fellow graper on the east coast especially in my most favorite part – upstate NY. Please feel free to call me if you want more detailed response to your writing. Your new fan, Dagmar 310-617-9383 stansova@aol.com

    1. Dagmar, is it telling that we keep our LA phone numbers? Thanks so much, we must must must bring Jack to the east coast in spirit if not in 3-d! We are now FB friends and I look forward to more Grapeian east coastian exchanges! I want to hear about your bi-yearly east coast treks to Jack’s class!
